Did you know that 1 out of every 4 car seats are not installed properly? Did you know that not every car seat works with every car? Do you know what the car seat laws are in your state?
On Tuesday, September 17, Toyota and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center are launching the first National Buckle Up For Life Day to educate families about proper child car seat use and other critical safety behaviors. The day will feature an online pledge, a live event in Washington, D.C. and a Twitter Q&A where people can ask questions about child car seats and have them answered live by their experts.
Twitter Party – #BuckleUpForLife 9/17 at 2P EST.. and I’m giving away 4 Evenflo car seats courtesy of Toyota!
Buckle Up for Life is a community-based safety program created by Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Toyota that educates the entire family on critical behaviors and provides free child car seats to families in need. To deliver the education in the most effective manner, they work in close collaboration with local hospital partners and churches. Buckle Up for Life is the only national program of its kind.
I’m excited to work with Toyota again on another important safety project. And, as a thank you to my community, they are providing me with 4 Evenflo Titan car seats to give away.
